Three cities - three dance ensembles 60+ - one performance evening. As part of the One Night Stand project, choreographers Andrea Marton and Stephanie Felber (Munich), Lisa Thomas/Pascal Sangl (Ludwigsburg), Silke Z. and David Vogel (Cologne) have developed three short performances with their dancers, all people over 60, which deal with the visibility of ageing bodies and focus on the connection between age(ing), body and sexuality.

The symposium explores the potential of dance and performance to take a critical stance on stereotypes and demands surrounding age(ing). The program includes a lecture performance, a panel discussion and workshops on the visibility and sensuality of the ageing body. The symposium is aimed at interested people 55+ with and without dance experience as well as cultural professionals. On April 19 at the HochX Theater and Live Art

"2xGETANZT" - the arcis_collective's new experimental concert format enters the next round. Two choreographers work independently with two dancers to create a 20-minute choreography to the music of the Arcis Saxophone Quartet. On April 22 and 23 at schwere reiter

What makes a man, what makes a woman? Do such criteria even exist? And if so, how useful are they? From May 1 to 5, 2024, artists will pose these questions in a wide variety of performances - and provide answers in many different ways. Under the title "go drag! munich", Munich's first drag festival will take place at the Pathos theater, the Gasteig HP8 and other venues.

Centauri is a series of four mini pop-up performances for six dancers from Munich’s indy scene, devised by choreographer Matteo Carvone and dramaturge Francesco Cocco. These interventions seek new ways of exploring public space in unique constellations and take place on four different days at four different locations around the Gasteig HP8. [FAUN] is an oneiric journey to discover the multifaceted, controversial, and slightly pathetic figure of that primordial and Olympian god named Pan. The filmed and the real merge in CARNAL SCREEN. The choreographer and videographer Stephanie Felber
sets herself and her team the task of interweaving film and theater on an equal footing in this production:
both media coexistent on stage as live performance and images interact.
Through perceptible changes of muscle tone and rhythms of breath, the bodies of the performers negotiate
their situation between holding and letting go, uncertainty and relaxation, as a state of tension prevails.

In "Und mache mir die Welt", choreographer and theater maker Marie Nüzel explores the question of how children and young people encounter and deal with the major, often unsettling issues of our time. Certain places in a city can serve as small islands of refuge and retreat when the world gets too loud again. "And make me the world" takes the world view of Pippi Longstocking a step further and believes in the power of small people, in their courage to help shape the world of big people. So that, in the best case scenario, we are not all quite so alone in all this mess. On June 15 and 16 as well as July 8 and September 22 at various locations in Munich
