Amo -Braunschweig Postkolonial e.V. offers a workshop for the discussion and further education on the topics of critical whiteness, racism (critique) and privilege in the context of the independent theater scene.
In this workshop we would like to give the participants the basic knowledge of how racism works in our society, how to recognize the mechanisms of racism and what it is about one's own positioning within society.
In the further discussion, we will finally practice taking a critical look at artistic practice and work with practical case studies. The workshop is aimed at both white and BIPOC artists.
