Producing sustainably If there is a Technical Rider, why not an Ecological Rider? What is more sustainable, a trip or twenty hours of Zoom? What are the alternatives if you don't want to use styrofoam in the set? How do you justify the expensive but sustainable purchase in the context of a grant?
The ECO RIDER is a tool to get started with sustainable work in front of, on and behind the stage.
During the 7-hour workshop, all participants are invited to take a look at the different working areas of sustainable stage production and to deal with practical implementation by means of examples.
The ECO RIDER workshop is explicitly aimed at all people producing theater - whether permanently employed or freelance: production managers, actors and stage technicians, directors as well as festival makers, costume and set designers - and invites them to ask questions and to deal with the basics of operational ecology together.
