Alfonso Fernandéz Sánchez

Alfonso Fernández Sánchez is an emergent young choreographer who loves to express his thoughts out through the beautiness of the movements of the soul.

Born on the 31st of March 1993 in Cornellà de Llobregat, Barcelona, Alfonso Fernández received his professional dance training at the “Institut del Teatre” in Barcelona. After finishing his dance education, he started working as a dancer for the Young Company “IT Dansa” (Barcelona, Spain), directed by Catherine Allard. Since the beginning of season 14/15 he worked as a Soloist Dancer at the “Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz” (Múnich, Germany) under the direction of Karl Alfred Schreiner.

Currently, he’s working on a freelance base aggrandizing his own knowledge doing his own choreographies at the same time he keeps expanding his own dance experiences. He is a versatile choreographer and dancer, a hard worker who possesses an excellent sense of rhythm, a strong passion for music, and the creative ability to express himself through movement.
